if you were any sort of indie/alternakid who went to high school in the 90s, you probably remember the fun activity of exchanging mix tapes of yr fave musix with yr b/f g/f & other homies. cassettes, mind you. nowadays we exchange DVDs with like 800 full albums on them. found a few from back in the day... these tapes were awesome (still are) & this is a lot of what i was getting into at the time, they intro'd me to lotsa music and definitely helped shape me into the superfreak cultural schizo that i am today.
